What I’m Watching: Sinners

Synopsis: “Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers return to their Mississippi hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back..”

My take: There are some works so masterful and powerful that they change the cultural conversation and shift entire industries. Sinners is one of those works. By night, the horror is speculative. By day, the horror is America.
