The Rack II Cover Reveal

I am absolutely thrilled to share the cover art for the upcoming horror anthology, The Rack II, which features one of my stories.

The Rack II is the second installment in the anthology series edited by the brilliant Bram Stoker Award-winning author, Tom Deady. This collection is a passion project, a love letter to the lurid, fantastic, and sometimes bizarre horror paperbacks that filled the racks of grocery and drug stores in the '70s and '80s. These were the books that sparked a lifelong obsession for so many of us, and I'm honored to contribute to that legacy.

The cover, created by the immensely talented Lynne Hansen, perfectly captures that moment when there is just so much bloody goodness on the rack that you decide to sit on the drug store floor and savor the art, the words, the fear-inducing stories. Seeing my name on a project with such an iconic cover feels surreal.

My story in the collection is "The Creak on the Attic Stairs." While I don't want to give too much away, I will say that it's a tale of dread, of secrets festering in the dark corners of a family home, and the sounds that hint at something much worse than a settling foundation.

Being a part of this anthology with Tom at the helm and a fantastic group of authors in the TOC—including legends like Jonathan Maberry, Lee Murray, and Joe R. Lansdale—has been a true honor. The collection also features an introduction by Sadie Hartmann (Mother Horror), which is just the blood-soaked cherry on top.
