Feature: 160 Black Women in Horror

I’m grateful to Sumiko Saulson and Kenya Moss-Dyme for including me in their publication featuring the breadth and depth of black women’s contributions to the horror genre. The list includes many of my favorite authors like Octavia Butler, Linda D. Addison, and Jewelle Gomez.

I seriously need this cover as a poster to keep me going on the tough writing days.

There are two publications to come out of this project.

The first is this catalogue, with profiles of black women past and present who work in the horror genre. It also features essays and a tribute to Valjeanne Jeffers. Purchase it here.

The second is a magazine that is FREE to download and features stories, poems, and essays from the women featured. Download it here.
